I worked at my former job for about 3 years and then about 8 months ago i was fired from because I was told to do something and I didn't do it. (stupid on my part) I had a bit of history of being disruptive but I had a very good attendance record ( never missed a day and i work for people a lot!) The managers like this so i think that is why they let me stay for so long. Well about 3 months after i had been fired I wrote a letter to my manger apologizing and ask for a reconsideration. I didn't receive a reply for him. About two months i went to go see him myself and asked him if i can have a talk with him, he said ok. We talked and i explained to him how i desperately needed the job back and he understood where i was coming from and tol me that he might but he wants to speak with the other manger and see was he thinks, and he also told me that he doesn't know if it would even be possible to rehire and that he would take to human resources and find out. He told me to call him the next day. I called him and he told that he spoke with the other manager and that they agreed that it might be possible but theydidntt feel it would be a good time at this time because of the people currently working there. ( part of the reason i was disruptive was because a good friend f mine worked there and we goofed around, we are not even friends anymore but i dont know how to tell that to them without looking like im lieing) Well two months after this meeting i called human resocure my self to see if it would be even possible to get rehired. She told me that it would be possible but i have to work somewhere else for 6 months to prove i can hold a job on good terms, next month it will be 6 months. Does anyone have any advice input or anything of the sort on the matter. Should i just give it up? or try

Then she start making overtures of reconciliation to me; no actions just words. I told her I would consider it with counseling as a condition. I realize I would not be able to live with the affair even though I was committed to keeping the family whole. I was conflicted and frustrated by her contact with the boy friend. I told the children that I would not be able to reconcile because of the affair. She became enrage and confronted me; eventually call 911 and falsely having me arrested for battery. No she is using the arrest as leverage in the divorce.

My old car is basically dead and I have a new one to drive around. I have some free time on my hands and wouldn't minding tearing apart this car that has given me so many problems. The is on the way out, the wiper blade motor is shot, needs brakes, has some electrical problems and it just blew a brake line when I started it up to move it forward two feet. I pretty much can't sell the car as whole and hope to get more than the junking rate of $200. I know the basic things to pull off/out of the car when you junk it like the battery, cats from the exhaust (for platinum), the radiator (for the Al and Cu), any working electrical components or switches (i.e. window controls, unlock/lock control, dimmer switch etc.), and take the windows out. Are there any other things that I should take out of the car because it might not be a ferrous metal? Or are there any other parts that I should remove that might have a decent resale value? Everytime I close my internet page an error report always comes up no matter what. I double click the internrt icon and then the page pops up, i can do whatever i want with no problem but everythime i press the "X" on on the top right to close it an error report or somthing always pops up, it says "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. What to do?

Yesterday I had to lift some really heavy stuff from work. Its over 50 pounds up over my head. My body just isnt used to that thats for sure. Well when i got home i spotted here and there and i thought it went away but this morning i woke up at about 2 with my right lower side just throbbing. It hurt so bad the rest of the night i was pretty much up and down with it. Then i guess i got my period which is a week earlier then it should of been. I've been hurting down there soo bad today. I stayed slouched over most of the day. What can i do to make all the pain go away?! and why is it doing this soo early? my periods have never ever been this bad before. I've cramped down there before but itd usually fade away and then come back its just staying constant nonstop. It hurts soo bad!! Seems interesting, though if I may make one observation about your experiment: Aside from oil, the other three components you are testing are water-based. The vast majority of orange juice and wine is water (ok, for wine it's probably about 85%, but for orange juice it's probably in the 90's). At the very least, perhaps the other thing you choose to look at could be not, water based? You may be able to get something like acetone, or paint thinner, though be careful not to inhale the fumes from those. Also you may be able to draw a relationship between how much water vs. other things are in a solution, and how long it takes them to evaporate. Another interesting thing to look at might be how much solid is left behind after something completely evaporates (I'm sure wine and orange juice will leave behind some solids after all the water has been evaporated, perhaps you will see that the amount of solid left behind will relate to how long it took it to evaporate?). Just some ideas, but overall, your experiment should be interesting.

Can I really force myself to focus?

Ok, so all throughout my life I've had problems with completing school work ignments. Normally each year I get good grades 1st semester then 2nd semester my grades just drop leaving me at the last portion of the year trying to get my grade back up. Each year It seems to get worse. Even more missing ignments, worse grades, and more punishments as a result. This summer I was diagnosed with ADHD, which explained SOOO much. I have a summer reading ignment this summer that I must complete a 140something question study guide and an essay that must be completed by this Thursday to turn in.(school started today) I'm at about 24 questions remaining on the study guide and still need to complete the essay. My ADHD medication recently became ineffective due to the tolerance that has built up with repeated use. My parents keep asking me why I can't just force myself to get the work done. Before I would have no excuse. When work hadn't gotten done before I was diagnosed my parents said I was being lazy and wasn't putting effort into schoolwork. Because my medicine isn't working right now it's a lot harder to focus and my parents are angry. They ask me, "Why can't you just force yourself to focus? You completed ignments before you were diagnosed. You can't just make excuses out of this(referring to my ADHD)." I think my parents have forgotten the decrease in my grades the past 3 years. I've been reading articles on ADHD explaining that it's okay and saying it's nearly impossible for an ADHD personality to focus in a schooling environment without treatment. Can I really force myself to focus with ADHD? I don't think my parents completely understand ADHD.

How do I stop my stomach from growling during cl?

I always eat a big breakfast (I kinda force myself to... I don't really want to) but my stomach always seems to growl during cl. It's REALLY embarring. I can't just take out food and start eating during cl, one of my teachers (5th period... when it's the worst) doesn't allow food OR water during cl. I try pushing books against my stomach, slouching, making noise other than that, whatever, but it doesn't really help. Anything I can do? Thanks :)

Rabbits Heat Stroke?

I have a male rabbits and a female rabbit that live outside and they're both housed in separate NIC condos. I was wondering can they die of heat stroke during the summer if their cages are in the shade? They have plenty of water and when its too hot, they run in their mini crates that I left in their condo so they have something to hide in. I left mini pillows and blankets in their crates so they have something to hide under, will they be fine?

Why is my hair shedding like crazy?

I'm a 22 yr old woman and I have fine midback hair and for the past few months a ton of hair falls out. i know its normal to lose about 100 hairs per day but everytime i put my hair up in a loose bun or pony tail and then take out the hair tye at least 20 hairs tops come out and when i take a shower and dry my hair around the same amount comes out. i always seem to have a bunch of my hair on my clothes or pillow. even when its layin flat ill run my fingers thru my hair and it comes out. i hope im making sense but it seems last month my hair was way thicker. also i have had a dry scalp lately but my hair gets super oily. i'm anemic but i've never had this problem before.. i started to use anti breakage serum so obviously im not gonna be able to tell if its working just yet. but am i going bald? whats wrong with my hair?

How to find a job, tried absolutely everything?

I am 26, ill be 27 in 4 months. Ive been looking for ANY job since May without any luck. I found a temp job a month ago and now im without a job again. Theres about 10 job search websites I visit, company websites and general random walk-in applications. I have been in school since 2005 and the last real job ive had was in 2007 during the summer. Now that school didnt go as planned im stuck with no degree and 3 years out of work, but its not like i sat down for 3 years doing absoutely nothing. I mean ive applied everywhere imaginable, for even the most basic jobs which require no expierence. Its almost like im a convicted felon or a drug user. 9 months is a long time for a job search and I have no idea what else to do.

Terms like "collateral damage" aren't euphemisms and were not developed to mislead the public. They have specific meanings for professional use among the military, as in their professional publications. These terms of course get used by non-professionals, often inappropriately, and the military tend to use jargon when it might be better to speak plain English (just as your doctor probably uses more medical jargon than you'd care for). But that's all quite beside the point. Jargon has its uses, since a phrase like "collateral damage" can be used when the substitute would take not two words but an entire paragraph.

After a lifetime of watching wrestling, I have learned that there are few things as emotionally gripping as seeing someone you hate hold the championship. It makes you watch in anticipation as your favorite superstars try and fail as the champ gets by by the skin of his teeth. I think if the WWE put one of the major titles on Mark Henry, they would have a believable champ who could fend off all challengers for quite some time. He wouldn't need to use any flash, just march to the ring and kick some ***. The kicker: have him win his matches clean, then after months, he has to rely on cheap moves and disqualifications to retain his title agains a particular challenger building to a big fued between to the two.

My civic has no power and is eating up all my gas! what could it be?

94 civic LX auto w. a d16z6. so far its had a full tune up + brakes+new cat + new transmission in the last 3 months. but in the last week its been getting much worse, it feels like im hauling a heavy trailer, it has no power specially when im accelerating from zero. when im accelerating the rpm falls a little and the whole car kind of pulls back, as if im applying the brakes; eventho ive got my foot on the gas. there are no engine lights and the car ped CA smog 3 months ago. i took it to a mechanic and he took it for a spin and he says the car is definitely missing some power, but doesn't know what it is either. he says it would take more than a day to find whats wrong, but no promises. the car also gets terrible gas mileage, only 170 on a full tank! where do i look now? plz let me know if u have any info that can be hlpful, 10pts!!! thanks

Problems with titles on cod mw2?

I was playing a team death match game and i called in a pavelow, my 10th, which should get you the "flying tank" title, it even told me i got the challenge. Shortly after i called it in and it gave me the extra experience boost for completing a challenge, a host migration took place, we were still able to finish the game, we won, which was my 5th team death match win, which gives you the "Team Player" title. At the game recap, it told me that I got the "Team Player" title, but not the "Flying Tank" title. I play on the PS3, can anybody tell me whats going on?

I was all excited about going to my first homecoming dance, but now things are starting to change. My roommate's two dogs had puppies and he keeps them in his room which has carpet. It smells really bad and they poop and pee on his carpet which he steam cleans one a week. Maybe your cat has an allergy to something, it may not even be the food he is eating. I wouldn't put him on meaty food I would keep him on dry food as if he has something wrong with his stomach then food in the tins could upset it more. Bad mulative GPA?! Help!?

So my freshman and sopre years I took all the hardest cles I could (1 AP, pretty much the rest honors) and got As on all the tests BUT I never saw the point in doing homework so I ended up with almost ALL Bs. This year I've gotten better: I'm taking hard cles but keeping up very well in work and being very active in cl. Last semester I had 1 B and all the rest As (2 APs) and so far in this semester I have all As. My cl rank is terrible still. How much will this hurt me in getting accepted to my first choice universities: UNC-CH, UCLA, UVA, Clemson, Syracuse? I took the ACT a couple months ago and got a 32. I've been preparing and I'm taking it again in April and the SAT in March and the SAT subject tests. My test scores are absolutely no big deal for me. I can raise them easily I think. I've played, so far, 3 yrs of varsity athletics, very involved in fine arts at school (band, theatre), eagle scout, young democrats. Next year I am taking 5 ap cles. Is my cl rank going to totally f***me over in getting accepted? What can I do!?

If noncustodial parent moves out of state does it look bad when custodial parent modifies child support?

A little modification for my earlier question...my fiance and I might be moving out of state due to a job transfer. His child's mother is going to modify his child support soon. I think it was good in terms of awarness, not worth the killing and all else. The opposition, Mir Mossein Mousavi should have known that the regime is just too strong so nothing would change. It will take a lot and a long time for this regime to change or even admit and be honest for the election issue because they are a dictator and very selfish. They wont listen to anyone but themselves. It's too sad, the innocent people that lost their lives but they didnt really need to because nothing really changed in the end. Muslims, i need help here.?

alamu-alaikum Now i know i shouldn't be asking this on Y!A but right now this is the only place i can go. Okay, so, our community's Imam is sick an out of town this week so he will not be able to give the Khutbah next friday at our Masjid. And out of nowhere the people turned to me, they want me to give the Khutbah. Now, i've always dreamed of that, but i always thought it'd happen when i was much older. Right now i am only 16. i just graduated from high school (alhamdulillah) and am a very studious person in this deen. But i don't consider myself ready to be an Imam yet. It sounds like you can do chords okay, but maybe you just need to practice w/ your finger agility. If you're not taking private lessons (though it sounds like you do), I suggest you do. Go to a music store, go through the technique books they have, and choose one you like. Try playing some newer rock songs first, Clic Rock is usually a little harder (but better). Look at Steve Vai's 30 hour workout, it was in an old issue of Guitar World I think, and try that out.

I also live in Florida and feed birds like crazy! I put one of those on my mothers window and birds go to it most of the time. All the birds are just now coming back around this time of year. Try a mix, not all birds eat sunflower seeds. Dove are the easiest to attract and they like the millet and miso. Cardinals and bluejays like sunflower but cardinals prefer to eat off of a flat surface. Try putting some on the ground or on the sill to lure then in. Good luck.

Has my son got ADHD?

We have had our youngest son (8 years old) examined by an ADHD specialist who said that he shows a lot of the ADHD characteristics and that he is very intelligent but is just doing enough at school to get by. However, his current teacher states that he doesn't have ADHD because he is fulfilling all the average criteria for his age, despite the fact that in our opinion his writing and spelling has deteriorated during the last year. You don't actually have to touch it, but it will help him stay clean, and he'll actually learn from you doing it, that he needs to do it by himself. Smoking weed seems to have little effect? What is the point?

I have tried smoking weed on two occasions with some of my major druggie friends that are obsessed with it. Both were with large amounts and a bong. I can honestly say I felt more from the alcohol and had trouble identifying any great feeling from the illegal substance. So they are all like man i am stoned blah blah blah and I am like hmm... This seems to have little effect on any major functions. ::chugs more beer which actually works:: I am confused as to the point of this substance when alcohol produces much more of an effect that I can enjoy. Like I said I can't even identify what the weed did except the second time my chest felt like it was puffing out and I am sure a weak minded person would have had a panic attack. (I have a strong mind and suppressed it.) Anyways, point is alcohol has such a better effect as far as I can tell. If I was gonna do a drug ever again it would have to have a stronger effect than alcohol. Like seeing cartoon characters and purple elephants. my 2 cents
