Why when god has a message, he only tells specific people when they are alone? and whats with all the hate?

I know it’s a faith thing, but I will have a lot more faith if he just stood up and spoke to the whole world and tell us what he wants. Instead of sending his messenger people, what if along the way, one of them was just crazy. that means we are reading a book of a madman. I mean, honestly, there are a lot of religions, they all seem to be following the same rules on how he communicates and what he wants. Also, why does everyone bash each others religion? We all pray to an invincible god, even atheist follow their own morals without religion, they have morals that we agree on, such as, don't kill, , steal or hurt people. They don't believe or feel like they need to be going anywhere after death, but so what? Isn’t the point of believing in a god, or many gods a good thing? To give, to help, to love and hope, so why is there so much negativity around our religions? Again I go back to my original question, won’t it be easier for him to just speak to everyone, set the record straight, I’m sure most of the non-believers will chang their minds in a second, I mean seriously, how can you blame them for being skeptics? Some people don’t need faith to know what’s right or wrong, I have faith, but I don’t need it to tell me what I should or should not do, a self awareness and conscience were given to me and so I use it. I have faith because I choose to have it. I am doing it wrong?
