Should we encourage teens to watch prison shows?

Would it motivate them to stay in school and get an education? Maybe a doentary, showing the hardship on the family, when one is incarcerated, would help. Not all dropouts end up in prison, or living on the street, but many do. The only alternative, I guess, is to build more prisons. Any ideas?
