What to wear to a wedding...Tiffany Blue and white?

So my friends wedding is TIFFANY BLUE and WHITE, I know there are rules like don't be overbearing,don't be brighter than the bride...what should I wear?? A dress or maybe a skirt? They are having a huge afterparty do I change before the party
