Is this way overprotective?

I'm 13 and i already no that my parents r overprotective. But, is it normal 4 a 13 year old girl to not b allowed 2 go in the front yard alone?? Even if i wanna get something in the car my mom would hav 2 come with me. My friends r always asking me 2 come 2 there houses but i don't cuz i no they will go 4 a walk or something and my mom will find out. One day my friend wanted 2 me 2 meet her at the end of our streets and my mom stayed outside and watched me and made me carry screwdriver in case i would need it. i cant even ride a bike cuz i no i wont b allowed 2 ride it anywhere unless my mom is right beside me in her car. i just wanted 2 no is this normal??
